About Aadhaar Guide

We built Aadhaar Guide to make Aadhaar-related information simple and accessible for everyone. Our guides are based on real experience and verified through official sources.

Aadhaar Guide is a free information portal dedicated to helping Indian citizens navigate Aadhaar-related processes with ease. Whether you need to download your Aadhaar, update your details, order a PVC card, or link your PAN — we provide clear, step-by-step guides that walk you through every process.

We are not affiliated with UIDAI or any government body. This is an independent website run with the goal of making official Aadhaar processes easier to understand for everyone.

All content is cross-checked with official UIDAI sources and government notifications to ensure reliability.

Free & Accessible

All our guides are completely free. No registration, no login, no hidden charges — just the information you need.

Nitin is the person behind Aadhaar Guide. Based in Chandauli, he has spent the past two years breaking down government processes into simple, actionable guides for everyday citizens.

Editorial Policy

We hold ourselves to a clear editorial standard. Every piece of content published on Aadhaar Guide follows these principles:

01

First-Hand Experience

We personally go through each Aadhaar process — downloading, updating, ordering PVC cards, linking PAN — before writing about it. Our guides are based on what we actually did, not assumptions.

02

Official Source Verification

Every guide is cross-checked against official UIDAI documentation, government notifications, and portal updates to ensure the information is accurate and current.

03

Regular Updates

When UIDAI changes a process, updates a portal, or revises a policy, we review and update the affected guides. Outdated information helps no one.

04

No Copied Content

We don't copy-paste from government websites. Our guides are written in plain, easy-to-understand language with screenshots and step-by-step instructions from real walkthroughs.

05

Corrections & Accountability

If we get something wrong, we fix it. Readers can report errors at hello@aadhaarguide.com and we address corrections promptly and transparently.

06

Independence & Transparency

We are not affiliated with UIDAI or any government body. This website is ad-supported through Google AdSense. Advertising never influences our editorial content.

What We Cover

Our guides cover a wide range of Aadhaar-related topics including e-Aadhaar download, Aadhaar update and correction, new enrolment, PVC card ordering, Aadhaar-PAN linking, VID generation, biometric lock and unlock, mAadhaar app usage, UIDAI portal login, authentication troubleshooting, complaint and grievance filing, and Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AePS).

We continuously update our content whenever UIDAI makes changes to their processes, portals, or policies.

Protect Your Aadhaar Information

Your Aadhaar number, enrolment ID, and other personal details are sensitive. Never share your Aadhaar number, OTP, or biometric details with any unofficial website, app, or individual — including this website. We do not collect, store, or process your Aadhaar data in any form.

Always perform Aadhaar-related actions such as downloading, updating, or linking only through the official UIDAI portal (uidai.gov.in) or the mAadhaar app. If you suspect misuse of your Aadhaar, report it immediately to UIDAI's helpline at 1947 or lodge a complaint on their portal.
